Fort Knox and USO create coloring sheet for kids

Fort Knox cartoonist Paul Jon has created art for a USO coloring activity for kids. This second year’s art features Major Joe Knox returning home to his wife, Jane, and their two boys, Donald and Wesley, after his deployment to Afghanistan.

“Last year, the USO was thrilled to bring back a beloved holiday tradition of coloring sheets for kids,” said Elise Papa, Director of Web Operations and E-Commerce for the USO. “Working with Paul is always a joy, and the passion he has for supporting military families gets to the true core of our mission.”

The USO promoted the coloring sheet on Facebook, and the post earned more than 150 “likes” right away. The sheet is also featured on the USO’s home page, www.uso.org.

Do you have to stay within the lines in a military coloring book?

  2. Yes, but now you can use more colors.
