The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the 10 films nominated for Best Animated Short film. In alphabetical order:

“The Lost Thing,” Shaun Tan and Andrew Ruhemann, directors (Passion Pictures Australia)
“Madagascar, Carnet de Voyage (Madagascar, a Journey Diary),” Bastien Dubois, director (Sacrebleu Productions)

  1. These are not nominations. This is just a list of 10 shorts that will be CONSIDERED for Oscar nomination. The final list of nominees would have five shorts listed.
