Visa secured for Cyanide & Happiness cartoonist

Earlier last month I reported that Cyanide & Happiness co-creator Dave McElfatrick was having issues getting a visa to work inside the US with his other co-creators. I received an email from Rob DenBleyker that Dave was able to get a 0-1 Visa which is good for 3 years allowing him to come to the United States and work on animation shorts with the other two creators.

Cyanide & Happiness was created by Dave, Rob, Kris Wilson and Matt Melvin in 2004 and has been running daily since 2005.

  1. I believe they launched a campaign of sorts via reddit to garner support from their fans. I think that helped in some way.
