Scott Stantis ends USA Today run of 14 years

Chicago Tribune editorial cartoonist Scott Stantis has ended a 14 year run as a regular contributor to USA Today. Scott writes on his blog:

It feels odd to think that something I had been doing for close to a decade-and-a-half has come to an end. I am grateful to USA Today for the wonderful opportunity it gave me.

It has been a great run. I have enjoyed working with the folks at USA Today. Many of whom have become friends. I will miss working with them but the myriad of opportunities to branch out into other media and other projects here at the Tribune are so overwhelming that I am forced to close one door in order to open another.

His last USA Today cartoon ran yesterday.
