“Snoopy” arrested while breaking into prison

A man dressed as Snoopy was arrested while trying to free an inmate in Britain.

Thesun.co.uk reported on Monday that jail workers were stunned when confronted by the Peanuts character waving a gun. When the man dressed as Snoopy and an accomplice failed to break down a door, they pelted prison officers’ cars with concrete “missiles”, it said.

“It’s not every day you see a giant cartoon dog going on the rampage after trying to break into a prison,” the report quoted a prison service source as saying.

If htat wasn’t bizarre enough, the gun was later to be revealed as a water pistol and the assailants were attacking the wrong jail as their family member was imprisoned elselwhere.
