Congrats to Howard Tayler for Hugo nod
Skip to commentsThe Hugo Awards have been announced for the Best Graphic Story. The Hugo is an award for writers, artists working in the fantasy and sci-fi field. Five stories have been announced including Howard Tayler’s’ “The Longshoreman of the Apocalypse” (of webcomic Shlock Mercenary and a friend of The Daily Cartoonist).
The nominees are:

- Girl Genius, Volume Nine: Agatha Heterodyne and the Heirs of the Storm, Kaja Foglio and Phil Foglio and Cheyenne Wright (Airship Entertainment)
- Schlock Mercenary: The Longshoreman of the Apocalypse, Howard Tayler (Self-Published)
