Daily Cartoonist goes mobile

A couple of weeks ago, I quietly released a mobile version of this blog for the iPhone/iPod Touch, Android, Palm Pre and Blackberry. The mobile version has all the capability of the full site including reading and posting comments. So, if you’re stuck at the grocery store, child’s dance/soccer/piano lessons, feel free to visit The Daily Cartoonist on your smartphone. It will detect your device automatically and render the blog in a mobile friendly way.

  1. Well done, Alan! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this upgrade on my iPod Touch, as it’s made browsing so much more efficient.

Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great to have a “scroll to bottom” option for those occasional extended discussions that take place here 🙂

  2. That’s how I’ve been reading this site for a couple of weeks on the Blackberry Storm. Love it.

Not a huge Blackberry Storm fan, but I prefer Verizon and that leaves the iphone out.

  3. I found it nicely ironic to read your story on media consumption via my iPod. The site looks great this way. Thanks.

  4. Great job! Now I can read this site while getting drunk at the bar!

  5. Pretty cool, but I’m going to hold out for the rotary phone version.

  6. …or stuck at work. Good deal Alan! Thanks!

  7. I don?t even understand how I ended up here, but I believed this submit used to be great. I do not realize who you might be however definitely you are going to a well-known blogger when you are not already 😉 Cheers!

  8. @LeeI wouldnt go as far as banishing AK movies, I think his cinema is brilliant to be honestbut thats an acquired taste obviously. Is his cinema ever gonna get a big banner? Absolutely no chance! Give him 50 crores to spend, and it will be a futile effort towards a profitable movie and a damn sure way to end a career. No messiah at all, infact if anythingsmall budget is a safe net. Spend 40 crores on a Dev D, do the mathbiggest flop of the year.
