It seems like college cartoon controversies happen in bunches. Here’s another from Michigan. Apparently a comic strip that appeared in the Delta College newspaper painted the city of Saginaw, MI as a place of drugs and violence – which didn’t go over well with readers – despite unscientific polls that showed people thought the stereotype was right on.

as someone who grew up in flint, michigan, 45 minutes south of saginaw, i can’t help but feel slighted. um, but we do like drugs.
If they mean the city of Saginaw…yeah, I wouldn’t think it’s that far off. But the ‘suburbs’ aren’t nearly as bad as the city.
