The Podcast Awards is now taking nominations for several categories. I’ve nominated Tom Racine’s Tall Tale Radio as best podcast in the Cultural/Arts category. If you’re a fan of his show, please head over to podcastawards.com and submit TTR as well. Nominations will be taken until October 18.

  3. Yes I strongly recommend that everyone who reads this post, or even looks in the general direction of this post, goes and nominates Tall Tale Radio!

    Tom’s work on TTR has done so much for the cartoon industry. Tall Tale Radio deserves so many more accolades than this, but this is a good start!

  4. Shucks, folks…I’m just a bald guy with a good voice and a love of cartooning I’m not that good at. 😉 Thanks for the kudos…it’d be great to get nominated. The people in this industry have been so responsive to me, and also to the guys at Comics Coast to Coast (who also deserve a nomination, by the way.) It’s certainly a golden age for information and personal interviews about the business and art of cartooning. Wish I’d heard some of this stuff when I was young and impressionable.
