» Marjane Satrapi will be speaking at the main branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia tonight, at 7:30, to launch of the library’s “One Book, One Philadelphia” year-long program where everyone in the city is encouraged to read Persepolis, her brilliant memoir about growing up in Iran. This is the first time the has chosen a graphic novel for this annual event.

  3. Chris, we’re planning on bringing our little one to the meet-and-greet event on Saturday, November 14. Sandra’s talk starts at 1PM, so I’m guessing we’ll stop at the food court for some lunch before heading over.

    Give me a shout, and we can setup a “reunion” 🙂
