Disney to buy Marvel for $4 billion
The Walt Disney Co. said Monday it is acquiring Marvel Entertainment Inc. for $4 billion in cash and stock. Under the deal, Disney will acquire ownership of 5,000 Marvel characters.

“World’s youngest professional cartoonist” pens new book
Alexa Kitchen, who is twelve years old, has a new book from Disney-Hyperion Books, “Grown-ups Are Dumb (No Offense).” She was nominated for two awards in 2007: a Harvey Award for Best New Talent and an Eisner Award for Best Publication for a Younger Audience.
