   My favorite Tank strip was one from the 70s. It was in the ABC booth at Monday Night Football. Frank Gifford asks, “And what do you think, Howard Cosell?” Howard’s dialogue balloon fills up the booth, spills out into the stadium crowd and threatens to overcome the city. The National Guard are called out, etc.

   my favorite Tank was a bunch of Fox executives attributing the high ratings of the 2004 ALCS to the 5 instant replays after each play, and saying how they would now have 15…or something like that. I used to have it clipped out and hung on my dorm wall.

3. Garey Mckee

   Although it’s ideal, it’s not often that the combination of great writing and great art make such an impact. Tank McNamara has always been consistent in both.

   Ditto what Garey said. Besides that, Bill is an awesome guy.
