Yesterday DC Comics launched their weekly Wednesday Comics – a 12-issue weekly anthology series that is printed in broadsheet format – much like the old time Sunday comics. The first issue premiered in USA Today. Did anyone pick it up? What’s your impressions?

Creators Syndicate is the second major syndicate to enter into the iPhone/iPod Touch app space. Creators has teamed up with iVerse Media to release four comic strip apps for the comic strips B.C., Dog eat Doug, Girls and Sports and Heathcliff. iVerse already has over a hundred comic app collections in Apple’s App Store.
