  1. Nooooo… This was exactly the path I was hoping Pixar would not take. However, I am still a huge fan and I will hope for the best. If anyone can pull it off it’s them. I wish them all the luck with their future projects.

  2. I could swear that when Pixar became part of Disney, the Pixarites took a public stand against sequels. I was elated.

    Apparently I was also delusional.

I wish Pixar would stick to what it’s proven it can do so well: producing sensational original films people flock to see. This new thing–this old thing–makes me sad.

  3. As long as they don’t touch WALL-E I’m fine.

I’d prefer they stick to original material every time, but Toy Story 2 was pretty funny – even an improvement in some ways (you can really see their abilities in animation expanding). Good luck to them.

  4. Yeah, the sequel thing bugs me too, but as long as its not direct to video shlock I will give Pixar the benefit of the doubt.
