  1. Congratulations, everyone!!!

  2. Thanks Bob for catching that. Mark’s name has been corrected.

    Alan

  3. Congrats to all, but mostly Mike Ramirez for editorial cartooning.

  4. Congrats to all, but particularly Cyril Pedrosa, as Three Shadows was easily the best graphic novel I’ve read in years, and Nicholas Marlet, one of the most talented and until recently, largely unrecognized character designers in the business.
    You deserve it!!!

  5. Congrats to all.

When will they start a web comic category?

  6. When will they start a web comic category?

Geeeeezzz. Should I just shut down the thread now?

  7. @ Alan – Yes. Shut down the thread and ban Chris T. for inciting a Daily Cartoonist brawl.

  8. Actually, I raised the issue at the NCS general meeting. We’ll see what happens.

  9. If we’re brawling, can I choose my weapons?
I choose rolled up newspapers…. LOL

  10. What was the response, Mark?

  11. This web cartoonist doesn’t want to brawl, I just wanna hang out with you guys (come one everyone, group hug)

  12. Yes, Mark – please tell Wiley what your impression is of the warm response you got from Jeff Keane to your suggestion.

  13. It’s probably not a good idea to discuss NCS business in an open forum, and my mistake to bring it up here. Suffice it to say that I will be following up with the board.

  14. I guess that indirectly answers my question.

  15. Mark is, of course, right, and I apologize for my inappropriate comment. For what it’s worth, I personally think Jeff and his almost-all-new NCS board of directors will be taking Mark’s suggestion about the inclusion of a web cartoonists award under serious consideration this year.
