Mike Lester wins Better Newspaper Contest

Rome News-Tribune editorial cartoonist Mike Lester has been honored with “Best Original Editorial Cartoon” in this year’s Better Newspaper Contest (BNC) and Better Newspaper Advertising Contest (BNAC) sponsored by the National Newspaper Association. The award recognizes newspapers who “find new ways to entice readers to subscribe and convince businesses that their publications are still the best investment of their advertising dollars.”
