Chad Carpenter: Alaska Cartoon Laureate?

Tundra creator Chad Carpenter may be honored as an official state laureate if a rumored (or wishful) legislative proclamation is passed. The proclamation would make Chad “Alaska’s Cartoon Laureate” (“like a poet laureate, but funny and easy to understand”). Chad is an Alaska native and the successful self-syndicated feature got its start in the Alaska Daily News.
