Diesel Sweeties in Hartford; Retail in Toronto

A couple of pick ups to report. The Hartford Courant has picked up Rich Stevens’ Diesel Sweeties as their trial ‘toon for the month of August.

Norm Feuti reports that his feature, Retail has been picked up by the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest daily.

  3. Lio, Pearls Before Swine, Rhymes With Orange and Cathy are 4 of the worst comic strips I have ever seen, and I have been reading the comics pages since the 1940s. But this Diesel Sweeties actually hits a new low in talent. It’s so bad that I actually have to sympathize with Richard Stevens for the embarrasment he must feel.
