Brooke McEldowney has announced that Piborn will return to the web on gocomics.com beginning on May 14th and that the comic feature will start over at the beginning to allow new readers to catch up on the story-line. Brooke mentions that this also allows him to work ahead.

Christian Science Monitor editorial cartoonist Clay Bennett has won this year’s Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for editorial cartooning. He’ll be honored in Washington D.C. on May 23rd.
Robert Ariail, the editorial cartoonist for The State (SC), has won this year’s Green Eyeshade award for editorial cartooning. The award is a a regional (11 state) SPJ award for outstanding journalism. This is Robert’s fifth Green Eyeshade award.
