Lio to run in Philadelphia Inquirer

Mark Tatulli gets an extensive write-up in the Philadelphia Inquirer this week in part as the Inquirer will be running Lio beginning on Monday.

Some of the more interesting tidbits gleaned from the article:

  • Mark has had to reel back the dark side of Lio because of complaints that it was too dark
  • Mark is trying to pitch Lio as a television cartoon
  • The inspiration for Lio isn’t from a traumatic or twisted childhood – just artistic creativity

The Inquirer will also begin to run Brian Crane’s Pickles which beat out Sherman’s Lagoon by 3,889 votes to 624.
