Julie Larson inserts fan into Dinette Set strip

Julie Larson recently featured a fan inside her Dinette Set comic strip. Charles Barngrover, a retired University of Cincinnati business professor works with stain glass and gives away his creations. The Dinette Set for February 18 showed signs in her strip reading, “Barngrover Inc.,” “Charles Stained Glass!” and “Larson Special Order.” Apparently, Barngrover met Julie at a book signing and suggested he be included and in case anyone is counting, he’s appeared twice before.
