Tom Spurgeon over at the Comics Reporter links to an article in the Hartford Courant regarding Garry Trudeau’s The Sandbox – a blog he began this year to allow service men and women to post their experiences over in the Middle East.
Kelley’s post was on The Sandbox, a milblog begun earlier this year by Pulitzer-winning cartoonist Garry Trudeau.
The Sandbox, (http://gocomics.typepad.com/the_sandbox/), is focused, Trudeau says, on “the unclassified details of deployment – the everyday, the extraordinary, the wonderful, the messed-up, the absurd.”
“We had no idea what to expect,” said Trudeau, “and we’re certainly delighted by the response. There’s been excellent word of mouth and many repeat visitors.”
