For Better or For Worse leads in Oregonian 10 most popular comics

According to a Universal Press press release, the Oregonian reported that their top 10 most popular comics are: For Better or For Worse, Pickles, Stone Soup, Zits, Doonesbury, Blondie, Luann, Get Fuzzy, Mutts and Pearls Before Swine.

The results were in the July 17 paper. I couldn’t find the original story online, but did find a blurb that mentioned that Curtis had been dropped and Adams’ Apples had taken its place.

  1. I HATE HATE HATE pooch cafe. this comic is neither funny or witty. It is THE worst comic i have ever read in the oregonian by far. please please please stop running this obsenity. It can’t contend with, and shouldn’t even be in the same vacinity as Get Fuzzy, Pearls Before Swine, or For Better or For worse.

  3. Unless you’re intentionally trying to hurt someone’s feelings, I think it’s best not to say things like this here. If that’s your feeling, send it to the Oregonian. But many of the the actual cartoonists frequent this blog and all you’ll accomplish is upsetting someone, not getting your paper to change its lineup.

    Just MHO.

You have no taste or a sense of Humor–a typical cat loving moron.
Pooch cafe is just about the funniest thing to hit Oregon since your last haircut. Maybe if you spent less time at the Old Town Buffet & more time looking up the words that you don’t understand, you would understand the strip.
