  1. Who is “Continental Features”? What known features do they syndicate? Anybody know?

  3. I had to look them up as I’ve never heard of them. They’re based out of California and have several artist associated with them (though, they’re not artists I’m familiar). Here’s their list from their web site:

Among the fine newspaper feature cartoonists who produce for our periodic newsmagazine, Continental Newstime, are Frank Hill(“Long Shots”)–who has also worked on such studio property as “Dennis the Menace”–Dan Robertson and Ron Taylor(“Huntin’ Humor”), Stan Hardison(“Neighbors”), Dick Leahy(“Great Moments”), Donald Russell and Don Thompson(“Marshall Tenstar”), Greg Panneitz(“Fusebox”), Brian Crowell(“J.V. All-American”), Mitch Schwenke and Alex Avedikian(“It Could Happen To Hugh!”), Mick Williams(“Morons With Money”), Brent Brown(“The Vast Wasteland”), Charles Hendrick, Jr.(“Short Short Stories”), Jeff Thomason(“Cully Koala”), Shaun Kettunen(“Wally’s Pond”), and Sophia Chen(“Alice & Alanna”).

  5. I exhibit my cartoon feature at artwanted.com/guins and last year exceeded a hit count of 770,000 during 2007. My feature, GUINS by Warren Harwood, has penguins as main characters. All of my cartoons are single panel gags. I am seeking syndication/publication. I have amassed more than 20,000 cartoons to date.

  9. I haven’t sent a new cartoon to Continental Features in a long time. I noticed they don’t seem to have any cartoonists listed any longer. Are they just going with writers now?
