Kent Worcester will be interviewing Tom the Dancing Bug creator Ruben Bolling at the Museum of Comci and Cartoon Art in New York next Monday. Here are the details as sent to me by Kent.
The New York-based Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA) is hosting a special event this coming Monday titled “Ruben Bolling in Conversation with Kent Worcester.”
The event will be held at MoCCA (594 Broadway in lower Manhattan) on Monday, April 10th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. The event is free and is part of the regular “MoCCA Mondays” series. Refreshments will be served.
Ruben Bolling is the creator of ‘Tom the Dancing Bug’, a weekly comic strip that appears in the Village Voice and numerous other newspapers and
online publications. His work has been collected in three books: Tom the Dancing Bug (1992), All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned From My
Golf-Playing Cats (1997), and Thrilling Tom the Dancing Bug Stories (2004). Kent Worcester’s interview with Ruben Bolling appeared in The
Comics Journal #247 (October 2002).Ruben will be talking about his career as a comics satirist, with a particular focus on humor and cartooning. For more information, please
