Mosquito tee-shirt still selling 2 decades later

Over two decades ago Doug Brooks drew a mosquito with the caption “I gave my blood in…” and left a blank for others to fill in. This cartoon as well as others have sold over 5 million shirts and have been spotted as far away as Australia.

One shirt he produced shows a paunchy man standing beside a muscle car, and says: “Over 40 years old and the same spare tire!” Another shirt depicts a man standing in a forest watching several woodland creatures dance in front of him. The caption reads: “Things you see when you don’t have a gun in your hand!”
