“Never Again!.. and Again” Joe Sacco and Art Spiegelman‘s three page collaboration of commentary, “a graphic conversation,” on the Gaza situation has been published in the February 27, 2025 issue of The New York Review of Books, and is available online (my first click on that link gave me a free read of the comic feature, subsequent visits saw pages two and three behind a paywall).

P-I editorial cartoonist Clyde Peterson

Since October 2015, famous editorial cartoonist Clyde Peterson, 82, of Houston — a former Buchanan and Paris resident in his early childhood — had drawn editorial cartoons and shared some of his insight with readers of The Post-Intelligencer.

Clyde Peterson – Maternity Desert

“I am a huge fan of your columnists and the range of their thoughts and styles. I would love to be part of your stable — assuming I could do so without getting your building burned down — but since Tony hasn’t already gotten your building burned down, I assume your readers could handle anything I might do.”

Updating our obit – The Paris Post-Intelligencer remembers editorial cartoonist Clyde Peterson.

Keith Knight and The Scrap Exchange

From Keith Knight:

I’m applying for this grant to bring cartooning workshops to public schools and libraries in North Carolina. I need a list of specific schools, teachers, and libraries to list in the proposal. If any of you know of a teacher, librarian, or principal that would be interested, pass this onto them. They can reach out to me at keef@kchronicles.com

  1. Wow, I didn’t know about the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument. I wish I had known when I was last in DC. I wonder if it – and the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, which I have visted – will last the next 4 years?
