Cathy stays, but other features may get dropped to make room for Pearls

Earlier this month, I posted a brief on how The Capital, Annapolis MD, was considering dropping Cathy to make room for Pearls Before Swine. Two weeks, and 305 emails later, the editor has decided to keep Cathy. BUT! the Pearl supporters were significant enough that the editor would like to cancel something else to make room. Most of the respondents mentioned “Alley Oop,” “Peanuts,” or “Get Fuzzy” as suitable candidates for booting.
