Standard Examiner considering dropping Bound and Gagged
Skip to commentsThe managing editor, Andy Howell, of my local paper, the Standard Examiner, had a column in which he explained that he was on the look out for a new feature to replace Dana Summer’s “Bound and Gagged.” He (the editor) opened his column by explaining that ever since Gary Larson retired he has been disappointed with the replacements until now. His suggestion and what he plans to run for the next 30 days is a self syndicated feature out of Alaska called “Tundra” by Chad Carpenter.
From his web site:
From these humble beginnings, Chad has turned his artwork into a thriving comic strip known as Tundra. Which has been running in newspapers and publications throughout Alaska, the Northwest and even Europe for the past seven years. The Tundra Empire has grown to include 7 different books, dozens of shirt designs, many different note cards, mouse pads and interactive CD-ROM.
