About ten years ago I was in Brussels as part of a vacation tour and stumbled upon The Comics Arts Museum by accident. Needless to say, I was floored when I went into it. I was only able to wander around for about 30 minutes, took a few pictures of the interior architecture, and shopped their BD store (picked up a gorgeous French edition of Jack Kirby’s Mister Miracle, among a few other items. I hope one day to return there and spend more time wandering around in it, but if anyone ever gets the chance to travel to Belgium, it’s a must to visit!

I visited the Comic Strip Museum in Belgium and have very fond memories of it! The building, designed by Victor Horta, is splendid. I’m a Tintin fan and I’d recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to visit. The only drawback is that the museum lacks international comics, since there are plenty of French and Dutch ones.
