 Art Credits Update

The Chronicle Chamber has the ghost art credits for The Ghost Who Walks:

What we understand is that Bret Blevins drew the whole strip from the 13th of June to the 25th of June and again 4th of July to the 9th of July. For the other times, Bret did the layouts based on Tony DePaul‘s script and then Scott Cohn tightens the roughs, inked and lettered the strip. These dates are 27th of June to the 2nd of July and the 11th of June until Mike picks up the mantle again.

We can announce that Mike Manley is back working on the Daily newspaper adventures. As suggested in our X-Band: The Phantom Podcast #223 we believe his first strip will be the end of July or early August.

 

The original July 13th post:

Wasn’t expecting it until next week.

But the artist’s signature on The Phantom comic strip came this week.

Above is today’s (July 13, 2022) issue of The Phantom daily, but the July 12 and July 11 strips are also showing Scott Cohn’s signature. Yet I don’t remember seeing that credit earlier this week, and there are screenshots of Monday’s and Tuesday’s showing no “Cohn.”

So has King Features/Comics Kingdom added the Cohn credit after the fact?
Or did they restore the credit after erasing it? These originals show the credit for Cohn but not yet with the Falk attribution, or date, or copyright slug.

And where is Bret Blevins credit?
Is Bret no longer The Phantom artist?
Is Bret no longer providing layouts?

 

And is this the end of The 21st Phantom?

From April 25, 2022. Is Old Man Mozz foretelling the result of this week’s fire fight?

 

Old Man Mozz also tells of the end of The Walker Phantoms.

However, The Ghost Who Walks will walk again.
