The show will feature a brand new story set in the ‘Big Nate’ universe.
The new child show will follow the titular character as he navigates the social challenges of sixth grade and tries to cope with reality through his drawings.
While fans could expect different stories to be adapted to the animated series, the first season of Big Nate will actually feature a brand new story. With 26 episodes dedicated to Nate’s adventures with his friends, the series will have something new for fans of the franchise while also introducing its humorous cast of characters to newcomers.

Stockholm-listed slots developer Lady Luck Games has penned a deal to create branded games featuring some of the world’s most popular entertainment characters.
The three-year co-development agreement with King Features Syndicate, a unit of Hearst, will see the likes of Popeye, Olive Oyl and Flash Gordon appear in slots across Europe and Asia for the first time.
King Features Syndicate is working in tandem with Lady Luck’s math specialists to bring together classic character designs, with the first games expected to be showcased at ICE London in February.

Paying tribute to Lady Luck Games’ board member and international branding expert Claes Kalborg, CEO Mads V. Jørgensen said: “We are extremely humbled and honoured that King Features Syndicate has chosen an up-and-coming studio like ours to represent its hugely popular and world-renowned brands.”
“It shows that our strategy works and the games that we produce are some of the most beautiful and entertaining in the business. This is easily one of the most important milestones in the company’s history and will make a huge difference in our outreach to both customers and players.”
Carla Silva, VP and GM, global head of licensing, at King Features revealed the cooperation provided the potential to see even more world-known brands added to the agreement if it proved successful.
She added: “We see huge growth potential in the online gaming category and are excited to bring these iconic characters to life with the impressive development expertise and entertaining features of Lady Luck Games.”

The world of the beloved Peanuts comic strip has been brought to life in various ways over the years, thanks in large part to cherished holiday specials, though fans will get the closest experience to actually setting foot into the world of Charlie Brown and Snoopy thanks to an immersive experience that will be debuting this winter. Following its initial run, The Search for Snoopy: A Peanuts Adventure will embark on a North American tour, allowing even more guests to step inside the world of Charlie Brown’s bedroom, Snoopy’s doghouse, and more iconic locations. It all comes in the form of a new immersive—ie. infinitely Instagrammable—experience called The Search For Snoopy: A Peanuts Adventure which will make its world debut in Honolulu in the spring of 2022. People can walk through Snoopy’s doghouse, into Charlie Brown’s bedroom, where you take a detour into his soundproofed closet to scream at the top of your lungs, pull up a stool at Lucy’s psychiatry booth and address the classroom.
