After getting it to The Boston Globe Ward Sutton posted his latest ‘toon to social media.
Twitter had no problem, Facebook however…
Facebook informed Ward that the comic went against their ‘Community Standards” and took it down,
while simultaneously informing Ward that if he paid extra they would boost his audience for the post.
Ward in turn informed followers (via Twitter):
Facebook simultaneously CENSORED my recent cartoon and TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY TO PROMOTE IT. I’m just the latest cartoonist to have their work censored by Facebook technology and/or clueless workers who can’t understand the context of the content of the cartoon.
