Daily World now has ‘Zits’, drops ‘Brevity’

The Daily World has picked up Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman’s Zits – but at the expense of Guy Endore-Kaiser and Rod Perry’s ‘Brevity’.

?Zits,? which has become one of America?s hottest comic strips in the past three years, makes its daily debut in The Daily World today. The King Features strip by Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman joined our Sunday color comics lineup in December.

?Zits? focuses on the life of Jeremy Duncan, a 15-year-old aspiring rock musician, riddled with angst and boredom. His parents ? Connie and Walt ? ?just don?t understand anything.?

?Brevity,? which clearly was not the soul of wit for Daily World readers, has been dropped to make way for ?Zits.?
