Top Shelf Productions to launch webcomics site

Indie comics publisher Top Shelf Productions will launch a new webcomics site this Friday. The site’s initial offerings will include Chris Eliopoulos (The Bravest Nino), Jessica McLeod and Edward J Grug III, Bernie McGovern, David Chelsea, muralist Michael DeForge, Belgian illustrator Stedho, Slovenian creator Domen Finzar, Sean T. Collins, and Kagan McLeod.
Leigh Walton, Top Shelf co-editor, stated the purpose of the site is to find great talent and to reach new audiences.
“We see Top Shelf 2.0 as a laboratory for new ideas and new creators. Any webcomic that gets an outstanding response will naturally suggest that we consider it for print publication, but in the meantime we’re happy to give these creators and fans an opportunity to discover each other.”
