Funny page changes of the week (Updated)
Skip to commentsHere’s the run down so far of what shake-ups were seen in a few papers across the country this week.
Wiley Miller’s Non-Sequitur has beat out Get Fuzzy, Rhymes with Orange and Preteena in the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram’s comic poll.
Brian Crane’s Pickles was the try-out comic in the News Observer as a replacement for the outgoing FoxTrot. It was so popular, they decided to keep it as a permanent replacement regardless of the outcome of the other try-out features. Edge City got bumped to make space. Mark Tatulli’s Lio is the current feature up for a vote starting this week.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is now running Tony Cochran’s Agnes as their try-out comic. Past tryouts include Lio and Diesel Sweeties.
UPDATE: The Marion Daily Republican has selected Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott’s Baby Blues as their permanent replacement for FoxTrot. Alley Oop held the spot temporarily until this week.
