No Good Dinosaur pushed to 2015; No Pixar film in 2014

For the first time since 2005, Pixar will not release a feature film next year. The Good Dinosaur was slated to be released next year, but after director Bob Peterson was removed from the project, Pixar president Ed Catmull remarked, “nobody ever remembers the fact that you slipped a film, but they will remember a bad film”. According to the LA Times the dino film is now slated for the 2015 slot occupied by Finding Dory which is now being pushed to 2016. Pixar now plans to release two films in 2015: No Good Dinosaur and “Inside Out” a film directed by Pete Docter.
