Crane, Kirkman share Reuben Award win

For the second time in National Cartoonist Society history, two of the outstanding cartoonists of the year nominees are sharing the Reuben Award. Last night, the award was given to Brian Crane, creator of Pickles and Rick Kirkman, co-creator of Baby Blues.

The only other time the award has been shared was back in 1968 when it was given to Pat Oliphant and Johnny Hart.

The division award winners were also awarded. The winners are:

    John Manders won last night’s Book Illustration divisional award.
