Another webcomic is raising a mass amount of money through Kickstarter. Homestruck is a webcomic in the format of a text-based adventure game that requires readers to click through each page to advance the story-line. According to Gary Tyrell over at Fleen, he calculates that it took Homestruck creator Andew Hussie about 32 hours to raise the $700,000 he needed to “create a game involving a new story based within the Homestuck universe”.

Gary has an interesting detailed break down of the number of backers, the amounts.

The game is slated to ship in 2014.
