SPJ awards go to Cavna (x3) and Racine

The SFJ Excellence-in-Features awards have been announced. The Washington Post’s Michael Cavna places in three categories. Michael takes first place win in the Blog category for his Comic Riffs blog, a second place win in the A&E Commentary, a shares a third place with Tall Tale Radio’s Tom Racine in Video Storytelling.

Congratulations to Michael and to Tom.

  5. Michael’s piece on graphic novels was simply amazing. Can’t tell you how honored I was to be a small part of it. He gave me a chance to work on something fun and interesting, and turned it into part of a tour de force of journalism and commentary. Viva tout les comiques!
