Editorial cartoonists – you win some; you lose some
A couple of unrelated editorial cartooning news.
John Carey, editorial cartoonist for Greater Media Newspapers in Central New Jersey was laid off in January due to new
budget constraints. He had been the cartoonist for 11 weekly newspapers since 2005.
Over at The Times-News in Twin Falls, ID, the paper has started running cartoons by Barksdale who will provide local cartoons several times a week.
