Dueling and debating cartoonists in the final days of the election
As we stretch into the last day of campaigning and political debating, I want to point you to a couple of examples of left and right cartoonists dueling it out. I’m sure there are others.
Liberal cartoonist Matt Bors debated with conservative cartoonist Glenn McCoy via Twitter. The event was moderated by GoComics. Matt has posted probably the most best formatted replay of the debate.
Arizona Republic editorial cartoonist Steve Benson has been dueling Indianapolis Star’s Gary Varvel throughout the campaign. Their respective papers have run their cartoonist along side the other during the conventions and last week. A sample of their cartoons are below.
