Jim Toomey’s Sherman’s Lagoon is taking on “Shark Week”.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the ocean, along comes a Sherman’s Lagoon “Shark Week” fish tale funny enough to propel you out of the water. In a special weeklong comic strip series, cartoonist Jim Toomey’s Great White shark character thinks his big break into show biz has come when a top producer from the Discovery Channel wants to film him for a “Shark Week” episode. As usual, hilarity ensues and things do not turn out quite as Sherman expects them to…

Shark Week starts this Sunday.
