Crowd funding compared: Kickstarter vs. Indiegogo

Anne Hambrock has an informative comparison of crowd funding solutions Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Each have their pros and cons that you need to be aware of.

Her last bit of advice is key. No matter what solution you go for – make sure you have a social network to generate publicity.

Interesting article by Annie. I’m about to launch a Kickstarter campaign, and I’m also a Kickstarter supporter of the Kenosha Festival so I found her opinions interesting.

But her article doesn’t put me off KS in the least. I’ve been planning this out, and studying others’ experiences there for several months, as well as contributed to six other Kickstarter projects. So I’m going in with my eyes wide open, but of course there are no guarantees! But I’m having an inordinate amount of fun just making these plans, I gotta say.
