Jim McCloskey leaves the News Leader for Mississippi

News Leader editorial cartoonist Jim McCloskey is leaving his post in Staunton, VA where he has spent 23 years as their editorial cartoonist and ad salesman. He is taking a similar position at the Sun-Herald in Gulfport, MS.

In this era of editorial cartoonists having no place to jump to among newspapers, it’s rather gratifying to see that Jim is able to do just that.
