Ariail, Bennett, Parker are finalists for Green Eyeshade Awards
Robert Ariail (Spartanburg Herald-Journal), Clay Bennett (Chattanooga Times Free Press) and Jeff Parker (Florida Today) were named as finalists in The Society of Professional Journalists announced the finalists for the 61st annual Green Eyeshade Awards. The regional contest recongnizes outstanding journalism in 11 southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.
The winner will be announced on June 24, in Atlanta at the Green Eyeshade Awards banquet.
Bennett was a finalist and winner of last years award.
