Mike Peters wins National Headliner Award

Mike Peters, editorial cartoonist for the Dayton Daily News (Dayton, OH) has won this year’s National Headliner Award for editorial cartooning. Second and third place went to Stuart Carlson (Universal Uclick Syndicate) and Adam Zyglis (The Buffalo News, NY) respectively. Mike won the award last year.

Interviewed by Michael Cavna about the announcement, Mike said, “whenever these awards happen, it’s always the same feeling. You can’t believe that someone gives you an award for doing what you absolutely love to do anyway.”
