Tom Hart launching cartoon school in Florida
Tom Spurgeon reports that cartoonist and comics educator Tom Hart is starting up a Sequential Art school in Gainesville FL. The target date to open is 2011. From the report it appears that the project is an extension of a current workshop that offers space for workshops, gallery shows and performances for artists in the area. The school will offer a two-year program. You can read more about their ambitions and the current workshop on their website.

Please have a summer workshop like CCS- Florida is much easier to get to for me, and I’ll come for sure!
