Well, man I had to Google Ricky Gervais. But I think everyone and their dog knows who Mr. Pastis is.

I applaud him for trying to stretch the envelope and bring attention to the comics using other media. He may not be Steve Carell, but it was a noble attempt.

As for the slacker thing, he’s become very wealthy essentially drawing stick figures – and Einstein spit on the floor! Geniuses I say, geniuses!

Wow – that was about 7 1/2 minutes too long. This is what happens when non-comedians try to attempt comedy. That lame attempt at shamelessly mimicing Ricky Gervais fell with a giant thud.

And someone please tell Stephan to look at his birth certificate (40 yo?) and get over the whole “19 year-old slacker” uniform. I’m starting to feel embarrassed for him.
