Jeremy Love wins 5 Glyph Comic Awards
Jeremy Love’s Bayou took home five awards this year in the annual Glyph Comics Awards. Jeremy took the top spot for the best Story of the Year, Best Writer, Best Artist, Best Female Character, and Best Comic Strip.
Other winners include Black Lighting (Grant Morrison, Writer; Matthew Clark, Norm Rapmund, Rob Hunter, and Don Ho, Artists; Tony Isabella and Trevor von Eeden, Creators) for Best Male Character;
Damian Duffy and John Jennings win Rising Star Award for Best Self-Publisher for their The Hole: Consumer Culture; Best Cover goes to Igor Kordey for Unknown Soldier #1; David Ury, Del Rey, (Translator/Adapter) for Best Reprint Publication for Me and the Devil Blues V1, and lastly the Fan Award for Best Comic
going to Vixen: Return of the Lion by G. Willow Wilson, Writer and Cafu, Artist.
